Burning time

Burn the candle for roughly 4 hours during its first burn. This is to ensure a full melt pool. If you don’t burn the candle for long enough, only the area immediately around the wick will melt. This can lead to tunneling, in which only the center of the candle burns down, leaving a ring of hard wax about the outside of the candle.

Trim the Candle Wick

Always trim the wick ¼ inch before lighting with every burn. The trimmed wick  helps the candle burn more evenly, controlling the soot and prolonging the life of your candle
